01 — THE FILM

HBO came to us with an open brief giving us lots of creative freedom to make this beautiful christmas spot. We were thrilled and went to work on something a bit more... experimental.

With this film, inspired by cubism, we wanted do a visual puzzle of sorts telling the story of someone coming back home, getting ready for a family dinner. It’s all broken down with different perspectives and lots of secondary stories here and there to form a non-linear narrative. The pieces come together as a story puzzle and you are free to solve the story any way you want.
